Season of the Deep is underway in Destiny 2, and some of the newly released artifact mods prominently feature the Void element. With these mods, it’s safe to say Void weapons are extremely potent this Season and the hunt for the best Void weapon has begun. So today, we’re going over the top 10 Void weapons in Destiny 2 for Season of the Deep.

Best Void Weapons in Destiny 2
Collective Obligation
The grand reward of the Vow of the Disciple Raid, the Collective Obligation Exotic Pulse Rifle, has had an up-and-down history. Upon its release, the weapon was mediocre at best. However, with recent buffs, the gun has become a staple for numerous Void builds. The ability to suppress, weaken, and make an enemy volatile is fantastic, and this weapon does it all. In particular, Void Titans and Warlocks feature this weapon in several builds. This is mainly due to their specialty of making enemies volatile. To obtain this weapon, players must defeat the final boss of the Vow of the Disciple Raid, Rhulk. However, it isn’t a guaranteed drop, so it may take multiple attempts before finally obtaining it.
Tractor Cannon
With the recent nerf of the Exotic Trace Rifle, Divinity, the Exotic Void Shotgun, Tractor Cannon, has risen to take its throne. Previously, Divinity was the “go-to” weapon for debuffing bosses in basically all PvE content. However, Tractor Cannon’s buff allows it to apply more debuff to an enemy, making it a superior option for high-end PvE activities. Solar bonk Titans are very fond of this weapon, as the mini-hammer build remains undefeated for solo play along with this weapon. Players can acquire this gun by purchasing it from the Exotic Kiosk at the Tower.
Leviathan’s Breath
Like Tractor Cannon, the Leviathan’s Breath Exotic Bow has had an up-and-down history throughout the game. However, the weapon has become a staple in loadouts this Season thanks to the arrival of the new Dungeon, Ghosts of the Deep. The final boss, Simmumah, is an annoying Lucent Wizard that can’t sit still. That said, when shot at by a fully charged Leviathan’s Breath, the boss will stop moving and be staggered. This grants a huge opportunity to deal a lot of damage to the boss. Tag on some Void Surges and Leviathan’s Breath will shred down bosses with ease.
Age Old Bond
Re-introduced with new perks and the ability to be crafted, the Age Old Bond Auto Rifle instantly became a top-tier gun this Season, not just one of the best Void weapons in Destiny 2. Not only did it gain amazing bonuses for PvP, but it also acquired Destabilizing Rounds and Repulsor Brace, making it a monster for Void builds. Destabilizing Rounds will make enemies Volatile, while Repulsor Brace gives the user an Overshield when defeating a Volatile enemy. Void Titans are incredibly fond of this weapon, as they specialize in making enemies Volatile. Players can obtain this gun by completing encounters in the Last Wish Raid. Like Collective Obligation, the weapon isn’t guaranteed, so it may take a few runs before acquiring it.
Harsh Language
Unlike the first, this Void waveframe Grenade Launcher did not disappoint. Even though it’s a world drop, the Harsh Language Grenade Launcher is simply fantastic for PvE setups. Waveframes are extremely powerful in today’s meta, and this weapon with the Repulsor Brace perk is necessary for Void builds that revolve around Overshields. Again, Void Titans can use this well, as they are the best class at creating Overshields for themselves and their teammates. This weapon is much harder to obtain because it is a world loot drop, but Banshee will sell it occasionally. Make sure to check his stock at the weekly reset to see if he has one for sale.
Unforgiven
Ever since its arrival last year during Season of the Haunted, the Unforgiven SMG has undeniably been one of the best Void weapons in Destiny 2. With the ability to be rolled with Demolitionist and Frenzy, this weapon can shred enemies with ease while increasing your grenade energy at the same time. It’s no secret why this gun is used in so many Void grenade builds. This weapon is strong enough to be used in virtually any setup, no matter the class which uses it. Players will need to complete encounters in the Duality Dungeon in order to acquire this gun.
Corrective Measure
Speaking of Void grenade builds, the Void LMG from the Vault of Glass Raid, Corrective Measure, is a fantastic option for them. Having access to Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie, this weapon can generate grenade energy like no other while also dealing decent damage. If you pair this gun with the Unforgiven SMG, you’ll throw grenades every few seconds. Needless to say, this weapon is extremely powerful for virtually all PvE activities. However, you’ll have to complete encounters in the Vault of Glass Raid to obtain this mighty gun. It isn’t guaranteed to drop, so it may take a few attempts before it finally drops for you.
Commemoration
LMGs have been highly potent for the past couple of Seasons in Destiny 2, and the Void LMG, Commemoration, is no exception. While it doesn’t suit grenade builds like the Corrective Measure, with the right perks, this weapon can demolish waves of enemies without reloading. With the Reconstruction and Killing Tally perks, this gun can have a magazine size of up to 155 shots, allowing you to hold the trigger down and destroy your enemies easily.
Killing Tally will also grant a 30% damage increase after securing multiple kills until the weapon is stowed or reloaded. However, thanks to Reconstruction, you can stow the gun when the magazine runs out, and it will automatically reload itself after a while. Corrective Measure may be better for build crafting, but Commemoration is an acceptable substitute for ad clear and Void builds. You can obtain this weapon by completing encounters in the Deep Stone Crypt Raid.
Hollow Denial
One of the very few Void Trace Rifles in the game, the Hollow Denial has been a staple in double special weapon loadouts. We’ve already talked about how good the Repulsor Brace perk is. However, one thing that truly sets it apart is the ability to be rolled with Lead from Gold. Lead from Gold allows the user to shoot an ammo brick off the ground and collect the ammo from it. This perk speaks for itself as to how good it is, especially for solo content for endgame players. Though the means of acquiring it have been sunset, Banshee will still occasionally sell this weapon.
Graviton Lance
You didn’t think we would leave this one out, did you? If you’ve played PvP since Season of the Deep began, you’ve probably been killed by a Graviton Lance multiple times. That’s due to the monstrous buff the weapon received when the Season started, putting it above, the likes of No Time to Explain as the strongest Pulse Rifle to use in PvP. Winning one-on-ones is one thing, but when it’s also able to secure multiple kills at once thanks to its Cosmology perk, this weapon wasted no time climbing the ranks. It’s highly likely it will see a nerf when Season 22 begins at the end of August. Until then, make sure to make full use of it by destroying your fellow Guardians in the Crucible!
