While Void weapons are not necessary for Void builds to work, having a Void weapon greatly improves the performance of a build. This is especially true with the mod called Volatile Flow in Season of Defiance, which turns a Void weapon into an ad-clearing machine.

10 Le Monarque

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (1)

Le Monarque is an Exotic precision-frame Bow that comes with the perk Snapshot Sights as well as the Exotic trait Poison Arrows. The Exotic Poison Arrows are triggered after being fired after a full draw. Le Monarque also has intrinsic Overload stunning capabilities.

Bows are always a viable option in endgame PvE, and Le Monarque is arguably the best Exotic Bow for general endgame play. Le Monarque is also extremely good and annoying in PvP with a fully drawn headshot leaving guardians with very low health.

9 Hollow Denial

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (2)

With the launch of Lightfall, double special weapons have become extremely popular in the PvE sandbox, with Trace Rifles being an important part of the double special ammo meta as they can quickly mow down trash enemies.

Hollow Denial is the only legendary Void Trace Rifle in the game and has access to some amazing PvE perks. In the left column, it can roll with Adaptive Munitions and Left from Gold, and in the right column, it can roll with Killing Tally and Repulsor Brace, making it a viable option for the endgame.

8 Gnawing Hunger

Collective Obligation is an Adaptive Frame Exotic Pulse Rifle that is dropped as an RNG drop by completing the Vow of Disciple Raid. Collective Obligation was released when Void 3.0 was the talk of the town, and Collective Obligation just makes Void 3.0 exponentially better.

It has Exotic perks Void Leech which states, “This weapon leeches Void debuffs from the targets that are affected by Void debuffs.” It also comes with Umbral Sustenance which automatically reloads the weapon when you gain devour, Void Over-Shield, or become invisible.

6 Deathbringer

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (5)

Deathbringer is an Exotic Rocket Launcher that was released with the Shadowkeep expansion. Deathbringer is an extremely unique Exotic that demands a playstyle that is different from every other weapon in the game.

While the projectiles of Deathbringer may be unreliable, especially when you are trying to DPS a boss, and there are various low-tier enemies nearby, the projectiles of Deathbringer deal a significant amount of damage depending on how far the projectile falls. The Exotic catalyst further decreases the height of the projectiles required for maximum damage.

5 The Hero’s Burden

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (6)

The Hero’s Burden is an Adaptive Frame Iron Banner Submachine gun. While The Hero’s Burden had its perk refreshed about four times, the perk refresh in Season of Defiance has allowed The Hero’s Burden to roll with a brand-new perk called Destabilizing Rounds.

Destabilizing Rounds causes nearby targets to become volatile on kills giving you volatile rounds without you needing to be on a Void subclass, with being on a Void subclass further improving your Void builds.

4 Harsh Language

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (7)

Harsh Language is a Wave Frame Grenade Launcher that was introduced in Season of Defiance. Harsh Language is the Void Forbearance, and while it does not have access to perks like Chain Reaction, it has some superb perks that synergize with the Void subclass.

In the left column, it can roll with Stats for All and Envious Assassin. In the right column, it can roll with Destabilizing rounds for ad-clear or Repulsor Brace for survivability purposes. This makes Harsh Language an extremely good special weapon, especially in the double special weapons meta.

3 Funnelweb

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (8)

Funnelweb is a Lightweight Frame Submachine gun that launched with the Witch Queen expansion and Void 3.0 subclass. Funnelweb immediately became a favorite among a player base due to its resemblance with the old pinnacle, The Recluse, and having access to great perks for both PvE and PvP.

Funnelweb is still very much potent in the current sandbox, with perks like Subsistence / Perpetual Motion and Frenzy / Adrenaline Junkie showing great work in PvE. Funnelweb can also roll with Killing Wind and Rangefinder making it an absolute menace in PvP.

2 Commemoration

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (9)

Commemoration is an Adaptive Frame Machine gun that is obtainable from the Deep Stone Crypt raid. It is also the only weapon in the list that is craftable which makes getting the perfect roll way easier. The Commemoration has an extremely clean design and, thanks to its perk combinations, is the best Machine gun in the game.

In the left column, Reconstruction is the clear winner, allowing Commemoration to reach a mag size of 120+ whilst never requiring the player to reload the weapon. In the right column, you can use Killing Tally for an extra damage boost or Repulsor Brace for survivability.

1 Unforgiven

Destiny 2: 10 Best Void Weapons, Ranked (10)

Unforgiven is an Aggressive Frame Submachine gun that was launched with the Duality dungeon in Season of Haunted. Duality Dungeon has amazing weapons, and this gun is no exception. Unforgiven can roll with Demolitionist in the left column and damage-boosting perks in the right column which immediately makes it better than the Funnelweb. It can roll with Rampage, Golden Tricorn, and Frenzy in the right column.
