Seats in the right field corner, specifically sections 29-32, 129-134, and 327-331, face a challenging position as the sun shifts and shines directly into fans' eyes. During a Cubs day game, shade is available in the terrace level back from the field. The 3rd base side offers more shaded rows than the 1st base side.

Even though sitting here comes with a good amount of risk in terms of view, they are also among the best places to find complete shade or cover during a sunny or rainy game at Wrigley. This makes it a good option for families with young children who may not be as frustrated as much by the obstructions.

It's as safe as any other major city. There is always a risk of being a victim of crime but it's pretty minimal in the downtown area (downtown actually spans a few different neighborhoods such as the Loop, Magnificent Mile, Streeterville, River North, River West , West Loop, and the South Loop).

When looking for tickets in the 200 level in the shade, be sure your tickets are not in the first 10 rows to ensure you will be undercover.
