Next FS22 DLC, Alma Missouri Update, and FS25 “Leak” (2024)

Mod Testing List

Starting off with the mods testing list. Today, we’ve got 35 mods on the list:

• 31 in Stage 1 (PC Testing)
• 4 in Stage 2 (Console Testing)

We still have 277 mods sitting waiting to be tested. And the current average waiting time for newly submitted mods is about 13 workdays.

FS22 Steam Sale

If you’ve been waiting for a sale on FS22, this weekend is the time to get it! There is a great sale on Steam right now, where you can get the Base game for 30% off, Premium for 55% off, and much more! As far as I can tell, Steam is the only place where the sale can be found. I don’t receive any kickbacks from Steam like I do with the GIANTS Software Version, but I still wanted to let you know of this awesome sale anyway, especially if you’ve been wanting to get into playing FS22 on PC – This is a great and much cheaper way to get started!

Modding Tutorials

And since FS22 is on sale this weekend, Giants have released the FS Modding Tutorials 5.0 for free, allowing more of you guys to get involved with Modding for Farming Simulator! These tutorials provide the basics of how to build your own mods and get them into the game! It’s a great way to get started!

SteamDB

Speaking of Steam, SteamDB was updated yesterday to show a new Unknown App! This is where all DLC’s for Farm Sim 22 and other games on Steam can be found. Generally, an Unknown App will show up 1 to 2 weeks before the DLC is officially announced by Giants. Then, 1 or 2 weeks after that, it’s released. SO, that tells me we are about 1 Month away from the next dlc. The only problem is, we have no idea what it could be. What do you think? Let me know!

FS25 Clickbait

There’s been a quote-unquote “FS25 Leak” going around Reddit since yesterday, from someone saying they have a ‘source’ who is filling them in on what’s going on with the next game in the Farming Simulator Franchise. This is a great wish list, but literally anyone can put one of these together. It’s ok to have a wish list, but don’t lie and clickbait people in our community. Leave that up to the GTA 6 Youtubers.

Of course, we all know not to listen to people when they have “exclusive information” to leak. Because frankly, those who know – don’t tell. And those who know nothing, tell all. Did I mention that this Twitter Profile was hidden immediately after this post was made? And the fact that I’m pretty sure all these numbers are faked. Yeah. Good job kid. If you want the real information, stay right here on Farm Sim News. If you don’t hear it from myself or one of the other reputable creators in our community, it’s probably just clickbait.

FS Kids Preorder Debacle on Android

Here’s something that is a little juicy though – On Tuesday, Pre-orders for Farm Sim Kids went live, allowing players on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices to preorder the upcoming Farming Game for kids! Well, you may have noticed that the preorder for the Google Play Store has been removed. This is because the game actually RELEASED there instead of going up for preorders, very similar to the Platinum DLC a few years ago.

So, the game was removed completely from the store – bricking any installs (likely because the game is not finished yet) Farm Sim Kids will still be available on Tuesday March 26th on the Google Play Store, but will not be available for preorder there.

Celobuki

I think that’s enough for today, so let’s jump over to modder news, and see what some of the top modders in Farm Sim are up to! Celobuki has some new information on the next update to Alma, Missouri! First up, the new house will not require a new save game. Celobuki doesn’t want those of us who have a lot of hours on the map to have to restart everything. GG.

HOWEVER, Celobuki is currently trying to get permissions to add baby animals to the map in a future update, but that would require a new update. BUT… BUT… the only thing added would be baby animals, so you wouldn’t have to update if you didn’t want to.

The next update before that though, will include;

• Retexturing the Farmhouse on main farm, and cow farm
• Added usable garage to houses
• Added placeable farmhouse with color options
• Snow roofs on most buildings
• Fixes to trees preventing joining fields
• Added wet asphalt texture to pavements
• And added snow texture to roads

Classic American Icons

Classic American Icons Modding has another few screenshots of their Big Bud HN Series, with some customization options. The first 2 are 250’s with different customization options. Then a 320, followed by Welker’s 350 in its original stage. Of course, gotta have the yellow one, and finally the 350 with short fenders; aka the Rice Option.

CAI says to stay tuned as they will be showing off their KT Series Buds, with lots more liveries! Oh, I can’t wait!

RossN Mods

RossN Mods dropped a teaser video of his Liebherr LTM 1450 Crane, showing off a few of the capabilities and use-cases where you may find using the crane to be very handy! Ross says the mod is still with Giants awaiting testing, and is intended for all platforms. However, he’s waiting on confirmation from Giants QA to see if it will be approved. I’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, check out Ross’ video – linked on my community tab on YouTube!

Sleutjes Modding

Sleutjes Modding show off another John Deere Mower they are working on – the John Deere 445. This will be their 4th John Deere Riding Lawn Mower for all platforms, and are currently in the modeling phase. Though, knowing them, they are probably almost done with it. They generally wait till the very end of a project to tease it. I’m guessing by Monday we’ll see it ingame.

Custom Modding

And lastly today, Custom Modding have some new screenshots of their upcoming Slurry Tanker Semi – with “Custom Trailers” as the branding on the mudflaps. I’m assuming this is not a real brand, as I’m not able to find anything online about them. The trailer looks to be modeled after several different popular Slurry Tankers out there, and is very American in its styling. Loving this design, and looking forward to seeing it ingame.
