A warm welcome from the team here at Vaping Hardware, thanks for stopping by. Today we’re taking a look at the Mr Fog Switch SW15000, the brand new disposable from the popular Mr Fog vape brand.
Mr Fog are a Canadian based vape company, originally launched back in 2018 with a range of extremely tasty e-juice flavors. However, in recent years they’ve started to branch out into a highly successful range of disposable vape devices.
We were lucky enough to review two such disposables; the original Mr Fog Switch and more recently, the Mr Fog MA8500. Both are fantastic disposables, but the clear favorite for me was the original Mr Fog Switch; a simply superb disposable, almost perfect in every regard and easily one of the best disposables you can get your hands on.
With such high praise for the original, this new Mr Fog Switch SW15000 disposable had some seriously big boots to fill and I couldn’t wait to see how it stacked up.
In a nutshell, the new Switch SW15000 is a multi-day, rechargeable disposable with a 15,000 total puff capacity, dual mesh coils and fully adjustable airflow. It comes pre-filled with 12ml of e-juice (yes only 12ml) and it’s available in a total of 16 different flavors.
It’s fitted with a nifty little LED screen displaying the remaining e-juice and battery (which incidentally was not included with the original Switch) and a boost mode if you prefer a little more ‘oomph’ in your disposables. Just like the original, the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 is only available in a 50mg nicotine salt strength, and due to the TPD regulations you won’t be able to buy it outside of the UK or EU.
Interestingly, the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 appears to have been released as part of their 6 year anniversary promotion. To celebrate this anniversary, Mr Fog produced a limited ‘Gold Edition’ version of the SW15000 so I’ll include pictures of it throughout!
But without further ado, let’s dive into the full Mr Fog Switch SW15000 disposable review…

What’s in the Box?
This is the slightly less exciting bit, so I’ll keep it brief.
The packaging is pretty standard for a disposable; it’s eye-catching and colorful, littered with product information and the usual safety/nicotine warnings.
You’ll find the flavor name and a picture of the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 displayed on the front of the packaging, with the disposable specs and manufacturer details printed in smaller print on the reverse.
On one side of the packaging, the nicotine strength and disposable name are printed, along with the Mr Fog “ENJOY TO THE LAST PUFF” seal.
On the other side there’s a QR code to scan for authenticity and another QR code for product support on the Mr Fog website.
Surprisingly, the packaging doesn’t display the battery capacity or PG/VG ratio of the e-juice. It’s not a big deal necessarily, but I wasn’t able to find this information on the website either…
But I digress.
Inside the packaging you’ll find a single Mr Fog Switch SW15000 disposable (sealed inside a foil wrapper) and a little card with usage instructions.
To get at the SW15000 disposable, just tear open the foil wrapper and it should slide right out. It comes pre-charged and ready to vape but you’ll need to remove the silicone plug from the mouthpiece …
… and peel off the sticker covering the airflow hole before you take your first puff …
Aside from the lack of PG/VG ratio (which could be a problem if you suffer from this) and battery capacity info, there’s nothing not to like about the packaging.
Now on to the really important stuff!
Mr Fog Switch SW15000 | Design & Appearance
As I mentioned before, I’m a big fan of the original Switch and straight out of the box it’s obvious the SW15000 is part of the same disposable range. The box-mod-esque design and distinctive two-tone color scheme are in full play, with one half of the disposable a brilliant white and the other half colored to match the flavor profile.
As with the packaging design, the branding is big, bold and colorful. The SW15000 acronym, flavor name and Mr Fog signature are printed in color-coded lettering on one side, while the opposite side displays the full disposable name; Mr Fog Switch.
The colored section of the SW15000 is designed with an almost marbled, reflective effect and the overall aesthetic is absolutely spot on. Obviously it’s very much subjective, but I think the overall design strikes the perfect balance – it’s sleek and eye-catching without being too bright or cartoonish.
Just like the original Switch, the white section of the SW15000 has a smooth, glossy feel to it but the colored section has a textured, matte finish for extra grip. Perfect if you’re clumsy or prone to dropping your vape.
Unfortunately, I’m both clumsy and forgetful, which means any disposable is likely to spend as much time on the floor (usually falling from my lap whenever I stand up!) as it does in my hand. I did manage to scratch several of the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 disposables up pretty badly during my time testing them, but they’re impressively robust and durable, with no noticeable impact on performance.
In terms of size, the Mr Fog SW15000 is also surprisingly compact for a 15,000 puff disposable, with dimensions of just 90mm in height, 55mm in width and 25mm in depth. Just like the original Switch, the SW15000 doesn’t feel too small or fragile, but it’s still compact enough to fit comfortably in your hand.
As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been unable to confirm the battery capacity but the SW15000 holds 12ml of e-juice, purportedly delivering up to 15,000 puffs in total. We’ll talk more about battery life and overall longevity a bit further down, but squeezing all that into such a compact package is impressive to say the least.
But back to the design…
The color-coded, food-grade TPU mouthpiece at the top of the disposable is soft, flexible and extremely comfortable to vape on. It’s another of the standout design elements borrowed from the original Switch and it’s great to see it included here.
In terms of improvements over the original Switch design, the SW15000 features a compact LED display screen indicating the current mode (eco or boost) and the remaining battery and e-juice levels. I found the screen to be super helpful and although it’s a nightmare getting a clear shot of it on camera, the actual display is bright and easy to read.
The screen lights up briefly each time you take a puff or press the ‘mode’ button to cycle between eco or boost mode. It will also stay lit while you’re charging the SW15000, but switch itself off when you hit 100% so you know when it’s fully charged.
On the lower right-facing side of the color-coded section on the SW15000, you’ll find the Type-C USB charging port. Charging is simple, just connect a Type-C USB charging cable into the port on the SW15000 and plug the other end into a suitable outlet.
A full charge takes between 50 minutes – 1 hour and as mentioned, the display screen will indicate the current battery level. My only minor gripe here is that Mr Fog chose not to include pass-through vaping on the SW15000, which means you won’t be able to vape it while you’re charging.
1st world problems I know, but it was available on the original switch and it would have been nice to see it included.
However, I can’t complain too much as the SW15000 does include my two favorite features commonly included with multi-day disposables; adjustable airflow and boost mode!
First things first, the adjustable airflow is controlled via a wheel on the front of the disposable, just below the LED display screen. It turns in either direction and allows for RDTL (restricted-direct-to-lung) when the wheel is rotated to the left and extremely tight MTL (mouth-to-lung) when rotated to the right.
Personally, I prefer somewhere in-between but it’s fully adjustable to suit whatever vaping style suits you.
Although the original Switch also featured adjustable airflow, the placement of the wheel in the centre of the Switch made it all too easy to accidently cover the airflow hole when vaping. We were actually critical of this in our original review and it’s great to see Mr Fog have moved the airflow wheel and completely resolved this issue!
Finally, by far the standout feature of the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 is the inclusion of a boost mode! The button itself is just above the USB charging port on the side of the disposable, and pressing it once will adjust the SW15000 from 10W (eco mode) to a whopping 20W (boost mode).
When you switch between the modes, the LED display screen will highlight what mode you’re currently vaping in. I won’t go into too much detail about the difference in performance as we’ll talk about that in the next section, but I will say it’s significant and it’s a feature I found myself using more than I expected!
Overall I’m really impressed with the design and appearance of the Mr Fog Switch SW15000. The team at Mr Fog have included everything that made the original Switch such a fantastic disposable, but the inclusion of the boost mode and LED display screen definitely set it apart as a significant upgrade.
All too often a ‘new’ disposable will hit the market, advertised as an upgrade over earlier releases in the line, but they’re essentially the same device with a slightly different design. Far from resting on their laurels, the team over at Mr Fog have somehow taken an already amazing disposable and made it even better!
Mr Fog Switch SW15000 | Performance
A great design, heaps of features and eye-catching aesthetics are important, but the real test is performance. I spent over a month exclusively vaping the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 and I’m happy to report it absolutely smashed that test, with only one exception.
Let’s start with the basics and work from there. The SW15000 is draw activated, which means there are no buttons or controls, it’s as simple as inhaling on the mouthpiece to take a puff. The draw sensor worked perfectly on each of the disposables Mr Fog sent us, with a super fast ramp-up time and zero false hits, misfiring etc.
The throat hit and nicotine delivery are also absolutely perfect, with a nice strong throat hit (which arguably is somewhat expected when vaping 50mg nicotine strength) and a satisfying hit each time you take a puff.
I’d love to see a 20mg option released, as 50mg may be too strong for some. However, the large majority of the multi-day disposables currently on the market are only available in 50mg nicotine salt, and unfortunately that’s not something I can see changing anytime soon.
Flavor and vapor production are both impressive and better than I’d been expecting. The flavor is dense and powerful, with each puff delivering a surprisingly strong blast of flavor. It’s a somewhat arbitrary comparison to make given the huge breadth of vaping products available now, but the flavor could almost rival the mid-range RDA’s I used to vape back in the day!
Likewise, the vapor production is well above average for a disposable and in a completely different league to the budget, gas-station disposables we’re all familiar with. You won’t fill up a room, but each puff kicks out a decent plume of fluffy, warm vapor.
Keep in mind, I’m talking about eco mode as well. When you crank the mode to the boost setting, the flavor and vapor production are significantly, well… boosted!
The adjustable airflow is a thing of beauty, and by far my favorite feature on a disposable. I tend to prefer a fairly tight MTL draw, and somewhere in the half-open setting on the Switch SW15000 was absolutely perfect for me personally. I don’t think you could make a case that the SW15000 supports full DTL vaping, as the fully open airflow isn’t quite airy enough, but if RDTL is your cup of tea it’s more than up to the task!
As mentioned earlier, the boost mode is fantastic, with almost every performance metric ramped up to 11. Flavor, vapor and throat hit are all outstanding in boost mode (20W) and I found myself vaping primarily in this setting throughout the day, and then switching back down to eco mode (10W) for about an hour before bed.
The trade-off with the boost mode is of course a reduction in battery life and overall longevity. Both will take a pretty big hit if you vape more frequently in the 20W, boost mode setting. Which brings me nicely to my only real issue with the Mr Fog Switch SW15000…
It’s advertised as providing up to 15,000 puffs and I didn’t get anywhere near that number before it ran out of e-juice, even when I vaped exclusively in eco mode. I’ve kept a record of my daily puff total several times in recent months, with it falling somewhere in the region of 600 – 700 puffs per day. On that basis, you’d assume the SW15000 disposable would last me at least 21 days.
I chose to vape several of the flavors in eco mode only, and even with those flavors I’ve been getting around 14/15 days before the LED display indicated I’d run out of e-juice. In comparison, the flavors I chose to vape in primarily boost mode have been lasting me around 11/12 days before the LED indicator registered I’d run out of e-juice.
Don’t get me wrong, that’s still fantastic value for money (more on price later) but it’s not quite what I’d been expecting from a 15,000 puff disposable.
In fairness, the last time I kept a tally of my daily puff total was early January and it’s possible I’m vaping more heavily than I was then. Drop me a comment in the comments section at the end of this post if you’ve tried the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 and your experience differed from mine.
I should also add, the battery itself performed admirably in whatever mode I vaped in. Cruising in eco mode, I’ve been getting just under three days of vaping before the battery needs to be recharged. Dialed up to 11 in boost mode I’m getting around two full days of vaping out of a single charge.
All things considered, I think Mr Fog have done a truly amazing job with the Switch SW15000! Everything you’d want from a disposable is delivered in excess; the flavor, vapor production, throat hit and nicotine delivery are all perfect and aside from the minor issue with the total puff tally, it’s a disposable that gets just about everything right!
Mr Fog Switch SW15000 | Flavors
According to the Mr Fog website at the time of writing, the Switch SW15000 is available in 16 different flavors:
- Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonade
- Pina Colada
- Banana Pancake
- Gold Edition
- Strawberry Dragon Fruit
- Grape Pomegranate Ice
- Strawberry Apricot Ice
- Peach Blue Razz Mango Ice
- Nasty Tropic
- Strawberry Berry
- Blue Raspberry Magic Cotton Ice
- Classic Mint Ice
- Guava Mango Peach
- Peach Lychee Ice
- White Peach Slushy
- Cola Gummy Ice
It’s a pretty diverse and mouth-watering flavor range! The only thing ‘missing’ is a tobacco blend, but it’s great to see a menthol option and a dessert-based flavor in the range!
There’s also several flavors in the range I’ve never seen before! The White Peach Slushy, Grape Pomegranate Ice and Peach Blue Razz Mango Ice threw me a real curveball when I read the flavor list (it’s the little things…) and hats off to the team over at Mr Fog for a bit of nifty flavor innovation.
We received 7 flavors from the range to try, and although taste is very much subjective, I’ll do my best to give a brief description of each below:
Strawberry Dragon Fruit
The Strawberry Dragon Fruit flavor is a delicious blend of sweet, juicy strawberry and sharp, ripe dragon fruit.
This was the first flavor I tried and it absolutely floored me! It’s a deep and complex flavor, with the sweet, authentic strawberry note at the foreground and the subtle, almost earthy dragon fruit acting as a beautifully light, yet mouthwatering counterbalance to the sweetness of the strawberry.
This is absolutely perfect in the warmer weather and it’s a flavor I found myself reaching for again and again.
Guava Mango Peach
The Guava Mango Peach is another absolute powerhouse of a flavor!
It’s a mouth-watering blend of ripe guava, juicy peach and tropical mango in a deliciously fruity medley, bursting with flavor!
The peach and mango are the dominant flavor notes, while the guava in the background comes across almost tangy, lingering on the taste buds long after each puff.
Strawberry Apricot Ice
The Strawberry Apricot Ice flavor is a beautiful mix of sweet strawberry and tart, almost sour apricot with a blast of fresh, icy menthol.
As with previous flavors, the strawberry is the dominant note and it’s absolutely delicious, packed full of sweet, authentic flavor notes.
The apricot is subtle, yet perfectly balanced and adds a layer of sharpness to an otherwise heavily sweetened flavor.
Strawberry Berry
I think someone in the Mr Fog office is fond of strawberry!
As delicious as the Strawberry Berry flavor is, it’s probably my least favorite of those I’ve tried so far. It’s not a bad flavor by any means, but I prefer the more complex, multi-layered flavors and this was a bit one dimensional for my tastes.
Nevertheless, the strawberry note is again absolutely spot on and this one is likely to be another favorite among the fruity flavor lovers!
Blue Raspberry Magic Cotton Ice
The Blue Raspberry Magic Cotton Ice is the absolute definition of a sweet bomb! It tastes exactly like raspberry candy floss (or cotton candy for you Yanks) and it’s easily my favorite of the flavors Mr Fog sent us!
The icy kick is super subtle here, with the raspberry and cotton candy sweetness coming through as the main players here.
This is a must-have for those with a sweet tooth!
Grape Pomegranate Ice
The Grape Pomegranate Ice flavor is a blend of extremely sweet, purple grape and tart, almost bitter pomegranate with a refreshing icy kick.
I expected to dislike this flavor as I’m not usually a fan of grape flavored e-juice, however the addition of the pomegranate totally changed this flavor for me!
It’s a beautiful combination of sweet and bitter flavor notes, with a delicious lingering aftertaste.
Gold Edition
I’ll be honest, I have NO idea how to describe this flavor!
The individual flavor notes aren’t listed on the packaging or on the Mr Fog website. However, it’s definitely a fruity flavor and a great one at that!
I think I’m picking up a powdery, sherbet flavor note but you’re guess is as good as mine! Let me know in the comments below if you know what’s in the flavor!
Overall I’m really impressed with the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 disposable flavors I tried. They were all delicious, even the flavors I didn’t expect to enjoy!
It shouldn’t come as a surprise really, considering Mr Fog were originally renowned for their e-juice range, but the flavors all really ‘pop’ and leave a delicious aftertaste.
Mr Fog Switch SW15000 | Price
At the time of writing, the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 has only just been released and isn’t yet widely available. However, a quick Google search will reveal a couple of vendors currently stocking the SW15000 for a fantastic $14.99!
The value for money is incredible and I’m actually surprised the SW15000 isn’t retailing in the $20 PLUS range! Especially considering the quality, performance and features they’ve packed into this disposable!
As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been getting up to 15 days of pretty heavy vaping out of each SW15000 when it’s set to eco mode, which should be plenty of power for the average vaper. Which means I’ll only need two disposables for the entire month, a total of roughly $30.
It will still work out more expensive in the long-term over a decent RTA, especially if you’re mixing your own e-juice, but it’s far cheaper than the equivalent smoking habit!
The link below will take you to VapeSourcing, a retailer I’ve used in the past with excellent customer service and competitive prices. Having said that, it’s worth shopping around for the best deal and if you do find the Mr Fog Switch SW15000 cheaper elsewhere, drop me a comment below!

Cons

I’m sure you can tell by now, I’m really impressed with the Mr Fog Switch SW15000. It’s a serious upgrade over the original Switch disposable and well worth the price if you’re looking for a vape with amazing flavor, above average vapor production and plenty of extras.
The adjustable airflow, LED display and boost mode really set the Switch SW15000 apart and there’s very little not to love about this disposable.
If I’m being nitpicky, I’d like to see a few more flavors in the e-juice range and a 20mg nicotine salt option, but these are minor issues when you consider the price and performance. My only significant gripe is the fact I don’t think I got 15,000 puffs as advertised, however this could simply be a puff miscalculation on my part.
Overall, the SW15000 is everything I’d hoped it would be as a successor to the original Switch and I highly recommend it!
