Very kind and enthusiastic. She made all the difference (engaged well) because paying attention in an online class is already hard enough. SO much reading though, but you can work on assignments for each unit at your own pace so I guess just manage your time responsibly. 3% extra credit to your final grade, open note exams and no final :)

She is rigorous with grading and very condescending.Selfish and honestly narcissistic because she will tell you she understands your situation but will not compromise with you. For a class that's about caring for students with disabilities she should be more empathetic with her students' success.

Dr. Rose is clearly passionate about psychology & you can see that through her lectures/lecture videos. She is energetic, helpful & provides plenty of resources to help you succeed. Tests are conceptual & requires you to analyze situations rather than reciting definitions. They are difficult but she allows you to take the exams open note. No final!

Easiest class yet. Mandatory attendance; only a participation grade from poll questions. Exams cover exactly what's in the textbook- be prepared to read! Every unit's hw is 3 chapters, 3 mini video quizzes, 100% on 3 Inquizitives, and sometimes a lab(s). Exams are open note + multiple choice so you're always guaranteed to pass.

Professor Rose was an amazing teacher. The class met once before every 5 exams. Those are the times mandatory for a grade. All of our assignments were simple and to the point.

This class was perfect for me. You do everything on your own time. Rose is super sweet, great at teaching, and you can tell she really enjoys it. She's got the enthusiasm of a real teacher, not just a professor at a research university. Everything was easy, there's just a lot of content to cover.

Class was fully online. Assigned 5 units with 3 chapters in each one. Super easy as long as you do all the work she assigns and the material isn't difficult. Extra credit opportunities were available to raise grade by 3%. Professor responds to emails pretty quick. Overall a great professor.

I freaking lovee Dr. Rose! Not only is she extremely relatable, she helps you to fully understand what you are trying to digest! She offers great feedback and genuinely cares about your education, wellbeing and if your fully understanding the content at hand! Beautiful spirit! Extremely tough grader, I highly doubt anyone in the class got an A. I heard she's not like this for other courses but I took a WI PSYC400 with her. She's very kind and knowledgeable about her topics but I can't recommend her because of my experience. Take this course and prepare to WORK.

PYSC100 was suppose to be an easy A but they switched up the format mid semester which I did not like. This brought a lot of averages of people down so be aware. Be sure to read and basically memorize/understand the textbook for the exams. Also, be sure to go to peer mentor sessions because you can also get extra credit from it.

PSYC100 is a pretty heavy class in terms of content and material, but she made Unit deadlines, as opposed to weekly deadlines, which was great. There were only 4 unit exams with chapter quizzes, but no midterm or final. I really enjoyed this class. Dr. Rose was always available outside of class, which was also amazing!

I loved this class. Very easy. Also, she cares about her students and will further explain if there are questions. Make sure you go to class though. Lots of online work, but it's easy and fun. I highly recommend this for a GEP which is what I did. Tests are also fairly easy.

Overall easy hybrid class. Meet once a week to take a group quiz and listen to her lecture. Most of the time there were guest speakers in-class. She's very knowledgable and a great resourceful person in the psych department. She gives very good feedback on each online assignment and is always eager to remind students on upcoming assignments.

Dr. Rose was a wonderful professor and I would take her courses in the future. She is very knowledgable and delivers material in an understandable format. Group quizzes are given so it is important to show up to class. It was easy to get in contact with her through email.

She is by far, the fastest emailer east of the Mississippi. She clearly lays out what she expects, reminds the class of due dates and issues, kind and respectful. She will likely respond to any question/concern you have within a hour.
