Gameplay Loop

Gyrfalcon’s Hauberk does practically everything.Essentially, the goal is to go Invisible through your dodge, exit Invisibility, gain Volatile Rounds, kill a Volatile enemy, and thus, re-enter Invisibility through Stylish Executioner and continue the cycle of exiting Invis, getting a kill on a Volatile enemy and repeating.

Adding in Devour grants you both Healing and Invisibility on kill. Then, once you add a Repulsor Brace weapon on top of this (which provides an overshield when defeating a Void-debuffed target), you become practically unkillable, weaving in and out of Invisibility with a tanky overshield and full health on kill.

  • Aspects: Trapper’s Ambush and Vanishing Step (Pro tip: Trapper’s Ambush’s ‘dive’ effect grants you increased invisibility duration and debuffs enemies for a longer period of time compared to the base smoke bomb, so always dive if possible).
  • Fragments: Echo of Persistence, Echo of Obscurity, and Echo of Remnants.
  • Abilities: Moebius Quiver, Gambler’s Dodge, Snare Bomb, and Vortex Grenade.
  • Stats Priority: Max Mobility 🡒 Resilience 🡒 Discipline.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: x2 Heavy Ammo Finder and Heavy Ammo Scout.
    • Arms: x2 Momentum Transfer and Bolstering Detonation.
    • Chest: Concussive Dampener and Resistance Mods based on your enemies.
    • Legs: Weapon Surge Mods matching your weapons.
    • Class Item: Special Finisher, Distribution and Bomber.

Gameplay Loop

The Omnioculus build is one of the most versatile builds in the game. This gives it a plethora of gameplay loops and combat rotations. However, the most important loop to learn is the ‘Dive>Dodge>Repeat’ combo, as Mactics puts it. To be able to repeat the loop, you need to push your invisibility to the absolute limit. To do this, you must alternate between your Trapper's Ambush smoke bomb and your Vanishing Step dodge while only having a second to spare.

Learning this basic combo will allow you to incorporate more advanced skills into your gameplay.

Another gameplay loop that is critical to the ‘support’ nature of Omnioculus is the ‘Rez>Dive’ combo. Mastering this Combo allows you to pick up allies from anywhere on the field, no matter the danger. To pull this off, you should activate your ‘Shadowdive’ when you are around 80% through your teammate's revive. This will grant them invisibility as soon as they spawn, allowing the both of you to retreat to safety.

This build is heavily inspired by Mactic's guide. If you want to learn how to truly master the Omnioculus playstyle with detailed strategies and combat rotations, check out his video.

  • Abilities: Suppressor Grenade and Empowering Rift.
  • Stats: Resilience 🡒 Recovery 🡒 Discipline.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Harmonic Siphon.
    • Arms: Grenade Kickstart.
    • Chest: Charged Up.
    • Legs: Stacks on Stacks.
    • Class Item: Bomber.

Gameplay Loop

Because there are so many moving parts to this build, there’s no one “loop” you’ll need to execute. You have multiple ways to debuff enemies: Weaken and Suppression with a grenade, Volatile from melee and Volatile Rounds, and more Weaken from Child of the Old Gods. Plus, you’ll get Devour by placing your rift or getting an ability kill.

After debuffing an enemy with any of these sources, shoot them once with Collective Obligation. Holding reload will cause the weapon to fire bullets that debuff enemies with any effect you shot earlier. After the chaos subsides, you should have most abilities recharged and ready for a second round.

    • Arms: Bolstering Detonation x2
    • Chest: Stat, Reserve, and Damage Resistance mods
    • Legs: Elemental Charge, Void Weapon Surge, and Insulation
    • Class Item: Bomber, Powerful Attraction

Gameplay Loop

The loop here is relatively straightforward: start by placing a rift, then shoot an enemy to send out your Void Soul. Killing combatants that are weakened by either this or your grenade will trigger Echo of Harvest, granting you a Void Breach. Killing an enemy with a grenade will also grant your Void weapon(s) Volatile Rounds.

Once you and your fireteam clear the wave of enemies your Void Soul is centered around, you can interact with it to once again get Void Soul Ready. As mentioned earlier, placing more rifts will grant you more Void Souls, allowing you to have multiple on the battlefield simultaneously.

That’s about it for the basics of this build, but you can make it infinitely more complex by adding a synergistic weapon like Collective Obligation or a legendary weapon with Repulsor Brace.

Titan Void builds

One Punch (Bash) Man

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons, Raids, Legend content)

Goal of the Build: Titans are known for their punching skills, and this build aims to take it to a new level. Peregrine Greaves now refunds all melee energy when hitting a miniboss, Champion, or Tormentor, and when paired with Void 3.0, cuts them down to size too.

Mandatory gear: Peregrine Greaves. Tractor Cannon is recommended.

  • Aspects: Bastion and Offensive Bulwark.
  • Fragments: Echo of Undermining, Echo of Leeching, and Echo of Expulsion.
  • Abilities: Vortex Grenade or Void Wall, Shield Bash.
  • Stats: Resilience 🡒 Recovery 🡒 Discipline 🡒 Strength.
  • Mods:
    • Helmet: Hands-On.
    • Arms: Heavy Handed, Melee Kickstart, Focusing Strike.
    • Chest: Relevant Resistance and Reserve Mods.

Gameplay Loop

The aspects used in this build work hand in hand with each other to help strengthen your melee damage you output. Bastion grants an overshield when using your barricade, allowing Offensive Bulwark to activate. This increases your melee damage, range, and regeneration. It also allows for melee final blows to increase the duration of the overshield. This loop of constant overshield helps you regen your other abilities faster and help keep the melee chain going.

Peregrine Greaves add to this by enhancing all shoulder charge abilities after being airborne for a short duration. To most enemies, this would be a 225% increase, but to anything classified as a mini-boss (Champions, Tormentors), this is a staggering 1000%!

So when going up against any of them, the idea is to apply Tractor Cannon’s debuff, sprint, jump, and then Shield Bash right into them. If they aren’t dead on the first go around, your melee should be back in time to do it again. It is important that you are in the air for at least half a second. Otherwise, the perk will not activate and you will not receive the damage buff, nor the melee energy.

Excels In: Endgame (Dungeons, Raids, Legend content)

Goal of the Build:Generate Super energy for both you and allies while also creating a safe zone for revives.

Exotic Perk:

  • Aspects: Bastion and Offensive Bulwark.
  • Fragments: Echo of Expulsion, Echo of Leeching, Echo of Remnants, and Echo of Reprisal.
  • Abilities: Vortex Grenade, Shield Toss, Towering Barricade, Banner Shield.
  • Stats: Resilience 🡒 Strength.

    • Arms: Melee Kickstart, Heavy Handed.
    • Chest: Resistance Mods based on your enemies.
    • Legs: Better Already, Recuperation.
    • Class Item: Outreach.

Gameplay Loop

Banner Shield’s always been known as an orb factory, and with the enemy rich environment of Onslaught, there’s never been a better time to bring it back. Ursa Furiosa’s perk refunds up to 50% of your Super for blocking enemy attacks.

The loop is simple: Charge your super as fast as possible, then break it out when the situation gets dicey. Banner Shield can take quite the beating, and unlike Bubble or Well, you can reposition and still be effective. On top of this, you’ll be making orbs for other Supers as well as buffing damage, and with Ursa Furiosa, it won’t be long for the cycle to begin anew.

It is important to note that having an Overshield active while blocking damage will not count towards the energy refund.
